Many Other Functions

Many Other Functions is the pseudonym of Paul Vandemast-Bell, an artist working with live electronics and experimental techno.

Alongside his dancefloor-oriented Mutant Computer project - drawing on 90s rave, house, and techno - his performances as Many Other Functions focus on tactile, improvised processes, often incorporating DIY electronic projects to augment and add expression to his hardware performance setup.

These live explorations generate raw, unpredictable energy and evolving grooves. His early work includes the Tron Lennon improvisation duo, where he performed as an experimental DJ at events such as Berlin’s Transmediale Festival and STEIM in Amsterdam.
